• Principles & Guidelines in Setting the Annual Budget

  The Finance Committee of the Board of Governors follows a clear set of principles and guidelines in setting the annual budget:
  

  • Tuition should be as low as possible consistent with other objectives;
  • Tuition volatility from one year to the next should be minimized; 
  • Faculty salaries should be as high as possible consistent with other objectives, preferably in the first or second quartile compared to comparable schools;
  • Financial aid should be as high as it can be consistent with other objectives in order to reasonably maximize socio-economic diversity and net tuition revenue.

• How 91桃色's funds its operating budget

  A significant portion of the 91桃色’s operating budget is allocated to the salaries and benefits necessary to both attract and retain our highly talented faculty and staff. The second largest cost incurred is to operate and maintain the schools’ more than 43 acres of campus and its facilities. These two expenses represent over 75% of the school’s operating budget.        
  
  While tuition supports the majority of the operating budget, 91桃色’s funds the balance of its operating budget with support from the school’s endowment and The 91桃色 Fund. As 91桃色’s strives to limit tuition increases, the importance of The 91桃色 Fund and endowment grows significantly. Every gift to the school makes a direct impact on the affordability of a 91桃色’s education for all boys.
